Doktorandin bei Prof. M.R. Strecker, PD PhD E.R. Sobel und Dr. R.C. Thiede am Institut für Erd- und Umweltwissenschaften der Universität Potsdam, mit dem Schwerpunkt Thermochronologie und Strukturgeologie. Mitglied der Gradute School 1364 "Shaping Earth's Surface in a Variable Environment", die vom DFG, dem Land Brandenburg und der Universität Potsdam gefördert wird.

Forschung

My main interest is the complex interaction between climate, tectonics and suface processes in convergent orogenic settings on geological timescales. The techniques applied include low-temperature thermochronology (apatite fission-track and (U-Th)/He on apaptite and zircon) and 3D thermo-kinematic modeling (Pecube). At present, my research focuses on the deformation and exhumation history of the Himalaya in NW India and of the Puna/Eastern Cordillera in NW Argentina.
