Research focus: Active tectonics in the Northern and Central Kenya Rift.

Methods:

  • Analysis of high-resolution topography
  • UAV mapping (multicopter & fixed-wing)
  • SfM processing
  • Field-based fault kinematic analysis
  • differential GPS surveys
  • 40Ar/39Ar dating of young volcanic rocks
  • Characterisation of paleo-lakes
