Research
Main fields of research
- Development and testing of (eco)-hydrological models
- Runoff simulation and forecasting
- Water quality modeling
Current project (until 2013)
Title
PROGRESS (D2.2)
Responsibilities
- Development of a generic modeling software to simulate dynamic processes in spatially distributed systems.
- Implementation of rainfall-runoff models for small catchments in Southern Germany based on the above mentioned software.
- Verification of runoff forecasts using different meteorological input.
- In collaboration with Maik Heistermann and Stephan Jacobi: Implementation and testing of an operational probabilistic forecast environment.
